Manav Rachna International University (MRIU), Faridabad conducted Mock Interview Session for Placements on September 21, 2015
In continuation to 2 days of around 500 arduous interview sessions and rigorous learning initiatives for placement; Career Development Cell (CDC) invited three eminent personalities from the Manav Rachna International University family, Dr Anil Sarin-Professor FCH, Dr M R Tyagi – Dean Engineering MRU and Prof. I.K Kilam-Dean Students Welfare to address the aspirants of campus placement from MRIU and MRU.
They shared their feedback based on series of mock-interviews conducted by them during the Project Career Breakthrough, a Career Development Cell (CDC) initiative to empower and prepare students for their campus selection.
Dr. Sarin stressed upon the need to establish unison between objectives and efforts. He also accentuated the students not to sound tutored while answering interviews and to take full ownership for their selection. Dr Tyagi emphasized on the importance of preparation especially while handling technical questions. He also advised the students to carry their project reports during their interview.
Prof Kilam highlighted the need to be confident. He stated that the key to developing confidence is preparation. His ten pointer interview strategy was a real eye opener for the students. Head-CDC, Ms. Gauri Bhasin gave the vote of thanks and encouraged the students to prepare and do well. Mr Nitesh, Senior Faculty CDC was the EMCEE for the programme.
