MRIU Successfully Concludes Quadcopter Workshop

MRIU concludes a quadcopter workshop that was held on January 29 and 30, 2016.

Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad had successfully conducted a quadcopter workshop on January 30, 2016. The workshop was started on January 29, 2016 under the guidance of Mr. Nambiyar, Assistant Professor at Aeronautical Engineering Faculty, MRIU.
The workshop started with the inaugural session by Dean Mr. M.K. Soni by flying one of the quadcopters made by aerobotic lab. After that, a vote of thanks was given to all the officials of aerobatic lab for attending this event, which was presented by the HOD Mr. Tarnacha. It was followed by a motivational speech by Mr. Nambiya, which discussed the importance of aeronautics in the near future and the importance of students to think out of the box to build a high-tech future.
Chief Technology Officer of Aerobotic lab Mr. Vaibhav gave an overview on ‘What Basically a Quadcopter is’ followed by a knowledge enriching session by Mr.  Naveen, another Chief Technology Officer of Aerobotic, on ‘Application, Modification, Development in Various Quadcopters and the Future in It’. 
A one-hour briefing was done by Mr. Naveen on the ‘Mechanism of Quadcopters & Various Controls’ too. All the students of aeronautical engineering, including students currently pursuing their 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters were divided into different groups and were given the instrumental kit of Quadcopter, which was assembled by the students. Students were also informed about the principles of aerodynamics. At the end, the drones were flowing in the central lawn in presence of the Dean, HODs and entire faculty.
