MU OET 2017

Manipal University Online Entrance Test or MU OET is a university-level entrance examination conducted by Manipal University every year for admission to its various undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. It is conducted in 50 different centres across India.

The official notification about MU OET 2017 is yet to be released by Manipal University but it is expected to be conducted in April and May 2017.  Candidates can fill the form until March 2017.

Courses Offered:

A vide number of courses are offered by Manipal University like- B.Tech, B.Arch, BASLP, B.Sc., BDS, BA, BHM, B.Com, BBA, MBBS, M.Arch, PGDCC, M.Tech, M.Sc, MA, ME, MBA, MD, MS, etc.

Separate schools are dedicated to each department like, School of Communication, Faculty of Architecture, Manipal College of Dental Science, Manipal Institute of Technology, etc.

MU OET 2017 Application

Candidates who wish to apply for MU OET 2017 can fill the online application for the same available on the official website. While filling of the form, candidates need to  select the course of their choice, enter all the required personal and educational details. In order to complete the whole registration process candidates need to pay  the registration fees of  INR 2000 (including INR 600 as application fees and INR 1400 as entrance test fees).

MU OET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

For Engineering & Technology and Medical Programmes:

Undergraduate Level -

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination in Science with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Postgraduate Level -

Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in their respective disciplines from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

For Management and Other Programmes:

Undergraduate Level -

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Postgraduate Level -

Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

The MUOET syllabus includes brief information about the syllabus of different subjects under MUOET. The question papers vary for each course and so do the subjects.

Measurement, Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Matter , Heat and Thermodynamics Oscillations and Waves, etc

Chemistry

Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry

Mathematics

Algebra,Logarithms,Mathematical Induction, Trigonometry, Vectors,Matrices And Determinants, Probability and Inequalities.

Broadly, this paper includes questions on general English like spotting of errors, sentence improvement, vocabulary etc.

MU OET 2017 Admit Card

The MU OET 2017 Admit Cards will be available for download 24 hours after the locking of exam centre by the candidates. They can then be downloaded from the official website of Manipal University. Candidates should check all the details before downloading their admit cards. It is important for candidates to carry the admit card along, as they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre without it.

MU OET 2017 Results

The MU OET 2017 results will be declared in May 2017 and it will be mentioned on the results cards whether the candidate is selected or not. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling and seat allotment according to their ranks and merit. The final decision about the selection of the candidates depends on the university norms.
