MU OET Counselling 2018- Manipal University Online Entrance Examination 2018 (MU OET) is an online entrance test organized by the Manipal University for the admission to various courses. The qualified candidates are admitted to the various courses under Manipal University.  The counselling of MU OET 2018 will be done through offline mode from 5 to 14 June 2018.  As Manipal University has seven rounds of counselling which includes one intra-institute and one spot discussion, MU OET 2018 admission will be based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination as well as the score. 

The first round, intra-institute sliding and spot round is physical rounds whereas all the others are done through online mode.  For round one, the candidates are expected to report to any of the colleges of Manipal University as per their rank. The candidates should give their preference. Candidates who are seeking admission in the UG/PG courses offered by the Manipal University should appear for the MU Online Entrance Test 2018. Manipal University Admission 2018 is done through its online entrance test which will be conducted by the Manipal University all over India. Eligibility Criteria for MU OET Counselling 2018:

  • Candidate must have a valid MU OET-2018 rank
  • Candidate should have passed in 10+2/A Level/IB/American 12th grade or equivalent
  • Examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidate should have minimum aggregate marks of 50% in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. Minimum marks should be maintained.
  • Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 /A Level/IB/American 12th grade or Equivalent board examination and are waiting for the results are also eligible for the counselling.
  • Board results should be available on or before July 15, 2018

MU OET 2018 Counselling Guidelines:

Candidates should be present physically. If not, the candidate should send another individual along with the authorization letter on the day of MU OET 2018 Counselling.

  • The candidate/representative will be allowed in the counselling hall.
  • Candidates should fill up the registration form
  • Candidates will be called as per their rank in MU OET 2018 merit list for document verification
  • The original documents are to be submitted on the day of orientation
  • Selected candidates will be allotted seats in order of their rank in the merit list of MU OET 2018
  • The application will be considered invalid if they couldn't report in the respective reporting venue on time
  • The course can’t be changed or modified

MU OET 2018 Registration:

The candidates who want to participate in the counselling process must report at counselling centers and are expected to collect the registration fee from the registration counter. Submit preferences of choices of college and courses and the seat allotment will take place as per the candidate’s score and rank in the qualifying examination.

MU OET 2018 Registration fee:

The candidates are required to pay registration and course fee on the day of MU OET 2018 Counselling through offline mode through Demand Draft in favour of ‘Manipal Academy of Higher Education’ payable at Manipal or Udupi.

MU OET 2018 Documents for Verification:

The candidates should carry original documents along with a set of photocopies. The original documents will be returned after the verification whereas the photocopies of the documents should submit with the University.

  • E-Hall Ticket (Original)
  • 10th standard marks card as proof of date of birth (Original)
  • Marks card of 10+2(Original)
  • Conduct/Character certificate issued by the School/College (Original)
  • Transfer certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College (Original)
  • Fees, as applicable for programme
  • Copy of PAN card of the parent
  • Aadhar Card of candidate
  • One set of photocopies of all the above documents
  • Two recent and identical passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph
  • Authorization letter, if representative is attending on behalf of candidate

MU OET 2018 Seat allotment:

Seats will be allotted as per the candidates rank in the MU OET 2018 merit list and their preferences of choice filling. For admission procedure, the candidates should report at the reporting center on time. The list of allotted candidates will be displayed online. So that the aspirants can keep a track on their admission

MU OET 2018 Waitlist:

When the seat in which candidates is interested are filled, such candidates can choose for waitlist and candidates who will be granted seat but wish to upgrade their seat, can choose to be waitlisted

 MU OET 2018  Second, third and fourth round of seat allotment is online:

The candidate who has taken the seat and wants to participate in the next Round is eligible for the second round. These candidates can modify their choices. The candidates who have participated in the first round have not taken any seat and opted for wait-listing in the next rounds of counselling. Those candidates who have already registered, but haven’t got the seat in the previous round/rounds are also eligible for this round. Such candidates can also modify their choices.

MU OET 2018 Fifth Round of Counselling:

Candidates who have not registered in any of the previous rounds, i.e. they are participating in the counselling for the first time, Candidates who have already taken their seat and wish to participate in this round will be able to modify their choices are eligible for the fifth round of counselling. Candidates who have registered and are not allotted any seat till the fourth round of Counselling can also sit for the fifth round of MU OET 2018 Counselling.
