Don't Start Anything New

You must ensure that you do not pick and start any new topic when you’re this close to the exam date. While discussing and exchanging exam tips with fellow aspirants and peers, you may come across topics or areas that you haven’t prepared or feel less confident about. What is important is to be thorough and confident about the topics you have already prepared. Last few days before the exam are not meant for new topics and areas. In fact, this is the time you should spend on revising what you’ve already prepared. Do not study new topics from new books or engage in anything new. These five days are for relaxation and revision only.

Do Overall Review of Subjects

Candidates should review all the subjects according to the Exam Pattern of MU OET so that, a complete idea on the exam can be obtained. Covering all the subjects by revising important topics is not a rocket science. Give proper time to recall whatever you’ve learned during revision. Overall reviewing is important as it gives you an idea about your preparation.

  • Practice solving frequently asked questions
  • Recall important formula
  • Recollect and repeat tough topics
  • Use short revise method

Practice Previous Year's Question Papers

Solving old question papers will help you attempt all the questions within the stipulated time without any confusion and hassle. Previous year’s question papers will give an idea about the mode of questions, pattern and all the other aspects, which can influence the score in the MU OET 2018 result. It is advisable that the candidates should first attempt the information based questions which are approximately 10% of entire paper and then follow the elimination method. For mathematics paper, backtrack method can be used to grab the best results. Since there is no requirement of filling or shading any bubbles in the online mode of MU OET 2018, you can take more time to think and answer the questions. Hence, you can utilize more time to solve difficult questions and this can help you score more.

It’s Okay to be Nervous

It is completely OKAY to feel nervous during the few days leading up to the exam day, but it’s very important to overcome this nervousness and replace it with confidence and preparedness at the same time. The best way to build up confidence and reassure yourself that you are well prepared is mock tests. Practicing mock tests will reassure you and help you revise your topics, hence making you confident for the exam. There is no point in being anxious about the exam, whereas being confident about what you have prepared and just chill.

Things to Carry inside the Exam Hall

The most important document to be carried on the exam day is the MU OET 2018 Admit Card. You must make sure that you have a printed copy of the admit card one day before the exam. It is advised that you take multiple printouts of the admit card just in case something goes wrong. Go through the admit card at least twice to make sure all the details are clearly mentioned and the printout is clear.

No electronic devices are allowed inside the hall. Hence, make sure you don’t carry any calculators or mobile phones. You can carry a water bottle to keep you refreshed and hydrated during the exam.

Eat, Sleep and Just Relax

Lastly, just remember that MU OET 2018 is just another exam. Eat healthy food, watch your favorite movie or show, take sufficient breaks between revisions and relax.
