KIIT was given the top grade on the basis of the report submitted by the 15-member NAAC Peer Team.

The visiting team assessed the quality standards of the University and found it in tandem with respect to the criteria relating to the educational processes and outcomes, covering the curriculum, teaching-learning, evaluation, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organisation, governance, financial well being and student services prescribed by the council. KIIT University in a short span of just 12 years has evolved into a nationally acclaimed and multi-disciplinary institution providing quality education in technology, medicine, law, media, biotechnology, management, rural managements, etc. Earlier also, in 2001 and 2008, KIIT was granted ‘A’ Grade by NAAC.
