NATA 2017 Exam Pattern

NATA 2017 Exam Pattern – NATA or National Aptitude Test in Architecture is an all India level entrance examination conducted across the country to test the applicant’s aptitude for the field of architecture. The exam, which is conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA), selects students for admissions to various architecture colleges across the length and breadth of the country.

The Council has released notification for the exam date i.e. 16th April 2017. Unlike NATA 2016, the NATA examination for the year 2017 will be conducted in one single day, i.e. April 16, 2017 (offline) and the registrations for the same are now closed.

NATA 2017 Exam Pattern:

NATA will be conducted in two parts involving a paper-based drawing test and an online computer-based aesthetic sensitivity test.

The drawing test will be of 120 minutes where the candidates will have to attempt three questions. The marking system for drawing test is –

On the other hand, the online aesthetic sensitivity test will require the candidates to answer 40 multiple-choice questions.  Every question will have to be answered within 90 seconds. If none of the answer choices is selected within the specified time, the screen will skip the current question and move on to the next one.

In addition to this, there will not be any negative marking in aesthetic sensitivity test.
