National Law University to Host Seminar on Consumer Protection

NLU, Delhi will conduct a seminar on consumer protection, which is scheduled for February 19 and 20, 2016.

National Law University is all set to conduct a national seminar on ‘Consumer Protection: New Age Challenges’. The seminar is scheduled for February 19 and 20, 2016.
 
NLU is conducting the seminar in collaboration with Centre for Consumer Studies, IIPA, New Delhi and it is sponsored by Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India.
 
Well researched original research papers, case studies and survey reports are invited from academics, practitioners, researchers, VCOs, students and other stakeholders who are working and interested in the field of consumer protection. 
 
The university has made a change regarding the co-author participation, by saying that only one co-author is permitted. The co-author is also required to pay registration charges as well.
 
The seminar seeks to elicit the experience and suggestions of various stakeholders in preparing a database for the lawmakers and policy planners to appropriately amend the law and policies to address the concerns.
