Medical aspirants’ wait is finally over as NEET Results 2016 for Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been declared. Students can check NEET results here.
Het Shah, 18, from Gujarat, has topped the examination after scoring 685 out of 720 marks. While Shah grabbed the All India Rank (AIR) 1, Ekansh Goyal, 18, from Odisha and Nikhil Bajiya, 17, from Rajasthan bagged AIR 2 and 3 respectively.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted for students seeking admission in MBBS/BDS courses in top medical/dental colleges across the nation.
Aspirants had been waiting patiently for the NEET 2016 results. NEET-I was conducted on 1st May, whereas second phase of the medical entrance test i.e. NEET-II was held on 24th July.

• Click on ‘NEET Phase 1 Results 2016 & NEET Phase 2 Results 2016’ link on the home page
• Enter Roll No. and Date of Birth
• Result page will appear
• Take a print for future references
Candidates should make note that the medical entrance test results will be displayed only for those who will qualify and secure minimum qualification scores.
Also, after downloading NEET result 2016, candidate should verify his/her name on the result page, roll no. and marks secured and in case of any issue contact examination authority.
NEET 2016 Counselling
Next, all the qualified students will be called for NEET 2016 counselling process between August 22 - August 25 on the basis of their NEET merit list and cut off of NEET 2016 for 15% of All India Quota seats.
The NEET counselling 2016 will be conducted in three rounds i.e. counselling registration, Choice Filling for Indicative Seats.
Once the aspirant will complete the process of NEET counselling, they will be allotted a seat based on their rank.
