NIT Kurukshetra to Host NGC’16 in June

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra will host a workshop on ‘Next Generation Computing: Research Issues and Challenges (NGC16)’ between June 27 and July 1, 2016.
The workshop will provide a platform for researchers\engineers to showcase and disseminate high-quality research in the domain of next-generation computing. 
The workshop welcomes the engineers, faculty members of engineering colleges, graduate students and research scholars working in the area of computing techniques.
It will introduce various new computing paradigms such as cloud computing, bio-inspired computing and cognitive computing etc. with an in-depth study of a number of current research topics, open problems, along with the potential research ideas and discussions on the evolution of computing.
Eminent scholars from IITs and NITs will deliver lectures during the workshop. The workshop intends to focus on advances in the following domains:
  • Introduction to Next generation computing systems
  • Distributed control for next-generation computing systems
  • Security and privacy issues and techniques
  • Cloud computing
  • Resource provisioning and scheduling
  • Energy management
  • Cognitive computing
  • Last date of registration: June 10, 2016
  • Intimation of acceptance: June 20, 2016
