National Institute of Technology Karnataka invites applications for M.Sc in Physics and Chemistry for the academic session of 2016-2018. Candidates need to apply before May 27.

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal invites applications for admissions in master’s degree program in physics and chemistry for the academic session of 2016-18. The eligible candidates can apply for the admission on the prescribed format by May 27, 2016.

The eligibility to apply for the M.Sc in Physics and Chemistry is a bachelor’s degree from the recognized university/institute with Physics and Chemistry as necessary subjects. In the selection procedure, the candidate’s academic performance will be considered other than the score in aptitude test.

To apply for the master’s degree course in physics and chemistry, the eligible candidates should submit forms in the prescribed format with essential documents and send it across to the ‘Assistant Registrar (Academic) NIIT Surathakl, Srinivasnagar, Magalore 575 0025 by post. The candidates should ensure that the application forms reach the address mentioned above before or on the last date in any case.

The application fee for the general category candidates to be paid for the registration procedure is INR 500 and INR 150 for the SC/SC categories. The payment will be acceptable through DD to be drawn in favor of Director NITK and payable at Mangalore.  

The interested candidates need to keep the following important dates in mind:

• The last date to fill the application forms is May 27
• Call letters to the shortlisted candidates will be dispatched latest by June 8
• June 17 and 18 will be the dates for selection/interview of the candidates
• The provisional selection/merit list will be published on the website on June 24, 2016.
