• A minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) must be secured in the class 12 board exams or students must be in the top 20 percentile of the board exams. Students who have not passed their class 12 should be appearing for their final exam in 2017.

• Application to the JEE Main 2018 requires candidates to possess an Aadhaar Card. Those without one can apply for the same at Aadhaar Card enrolment centres free of charge. However, applicants from J&K, Assam, and Meghalaya can use any valid government number, such as ration card number, passport number, etc.
