North-Eastern Fest at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College

The Chief Guest was Mr. H. S. Brahma, former Chief Commissioner of India


Atma Ram Sanatam Dharma (ARSD) College, New Delhi conducted special North-east Cultural Fest “Rainbow” in the campus on February 10, 2016 (Wednesday). This tradition of organising a special fest for north-eastern students was started last year only. So taking it ahead, this year it was celebrated with full zest n energy. The Chief Guest was Mr. H. S. Brahma, former Chief Commissioner of India.

Guest of honour was Dr. Vivek Rajpal, President Alumni Association at Modern School.



The fest started with College Principle's heart full welcome to north-eastern students and community in Delhi followed by traditional costume display of North-east by students of ARSD College. The fests included music presentation, north-eastern stalls and inter college dance, skit and song competition.

Various college students took part enthusiastically. 1st position was grabbed by Janki Devi College in Dance. Dual Singh College won the Song Competition. PGDAV College held 1st position in Skit Performance.



To take people from storm, at last ‘The Rig-Veda’ band performed live at college ground, leaving audience mesmerised. At last, head of cultural society of college gave vote of thanks to all the guest, students, staff n other people present in the college.
