With around 600 students already placed, the campus drives still continue to select more candidates
The Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) which is a part of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) marked an important day in its history to have achieved a success rate wherein the total offers made by four companies to the batch of 2016 tolled to 732.
There four companies namely Accenture, Infosys, ZS Associates and Vinsol presented 447, 258, 21 and 5 offers to students respectively. Some of the students from the streams of Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronic Communications Engineering (ECE) and Information Technology (IT) also received more than one offer. This process has led to relief and satisfaction among a majority of students.
On the other hand, the remaining students can be a part of the consequent campus drives which will be conducted in the following months. Students must focus on polishing their communication skills, technology facts and other basic aptitude concepts to be able to score well in the paper based /online test in the first stage. All of them should also try to be calm and confident about the placements.
Students are also urged to share contacts, if any, with the Human Resource Department of various core companies so that efforts can be made to get those companies to the MAIT campus.
Other companies which will be visiting the institute include IBM, Pay U, Nagarro, CSC, HCL, W&H, and Luminous etc. The dates of their visits will be informed as and when confirmed by them.
HT Campus wishes the students all the very best for their future endeavors.
