Kishore Jayaraman visited MREI as the first Indian university campus in his tenure.
The campus of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions was delighted to have Mr. Kishore Jayaraman, President, Rolls-Royce India and South Asia on April 29, 2016 during a guest session.
While sharing his experience with the students, he mentioned that this visit was his first of its kind during his tenure. This is the first Indian University campus that Mr. Jayaraman was visited.
In his speech, he said “If we don’t invent every day, we will die. If you want India to thrive in the global economy, then the strength lies in designing our own technology and exporting it to other countries. To that effect, it is very important for educational institutions to contribute to the Nation-Building process. It is all the more heartening to note that Manav Rachna has been working extensively in the areas of Skill Development”. He expressed confidence that such collaborative efforts will place MREI in a different league of Institutions in the coming future.
On this special occasion, the Mechanical engineering students of MREI presented Mr. Kishore Jayaraman with an aero model specially designed by them. Ankur Bhalla, an alumni of MREI won the prize for posing the best question at the interactive session following the guest lecture.
