He accentuated that when people talk to each other, they express their feelings through facial expressions and non-verbal aspects of speech which include tone of voice, body postures and gestures and they even do this when they are interacting with machines. He averred that human-computer and human-human communications can be improved since recent advances in computer technology allow machines to recognise and express emotions.
The lecture was attended by students and faculty members of Amity School of Engineering and Technology who posed a volley of questions to the speaker about his ongoing research and inferences that could be drawn out of it. Dr. Robinson answered all the questions elaborately.
