The SBI specialist cadre officers’ recruitment exam has been postponed. The exam was due to be held on November 25. Read further to know more.
The State Bank of India (SBI) released a notification recently stating that the Specialist Cadre Officers recruitment online examination has been postponed. However, no official reason has been given for postponing the examination. Earlier the exam was due to be held on November 25, 2016.
As per the notification released on the official website of SBI, the exam will now be conducted on January 20, 2017, in various cities across the country. The recruitment will be done to fill around 476 vacancies on the regular and contract basis.
The exam will be conducted to test aspirants on their reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, professional knowledge of the concerned field and English language. The paper will be divided into two sections: Section 1 consisting of 120 questions of one mark each and section 2 consisting of 50 questions of two marks each. The total duration of the exam will be 135 minutes, i.e. 2 hours 15 minutes.
The candidates will be selected for the regular positions of developers, system officers, tester and statistician and test lead on the basis of the online test and interview. The candidates for the contractual positions and that of technology relationship manager, candidates will be selected by short listing and an interview.
