International yoga day was celebrated with fervour under the guidance of Dr. Shobha Srivastava, Deputy Registrar, MRIU.
With the motive to harmonise the mind, body and soul, Manav Rachna International University celebrated the second international yoga day in a grand manner.
MRIU held a yoga and a meditation session in collaboration with Sports, Physical Education Fitness & Leisure Skills Council to promote overall wellness among the Manav Rachna fraternity.
Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU was there as Chief Guest. He motivated and emphasized on the importance of yoga in our day-today life. The event witnessed a huge participation from entire Manav Rachna family who later involved in doing deep breathing and yogic asanas under the guidance of Dr Shobha Srivastava, Deputy Registrar, FET, MRIU.
She guided yogic asanas and movements such as Kadam Taal, Deep Breathing, Neck, Body and Ankle Rotation, Trikon Aasana and Brahmiri (for better voice coordination). She urged Manavites to make every day International Yoga Day by harmonizing the mind, body and soul so that life becomes a celebration. The day was ended with a positive vive.
