SET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a university level examination conducted by Symbiosis International University. It is organized for admission to various undergraduate courses of the Symbiosis University and its constituent institutions in Law, Design, Engineering, Health Sciences and Computers. The pen-paper based test is conducted once in a year in various cities across the country. Every year huge number of aspirants appears for this examination. Symbiosis International University has not yet released any official notification regarding SET 2017. However, we provide you tentative information below.

SET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Given below are SET 2017 eligibility criteria for different courses-

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)-

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as one of the compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates should have passed the 10+2 level with at least 45 percent marks in aggregate (40 percent in case of reserved category).

B.A.L.L.B. and BBA.L.L.B.

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45 percent (40 percent in case of reserved category) in aggregate.
  • Candidates who have appeared for the class twelfth examination are also eligible to apply.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level in any discipline from a recognized board with a minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate (45 percent for reserved category).
  • Admissions for all the international students will be done through Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) or Symbiosis International University.

Bachelor of Science (Economics)

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50 percent (45 percent in case of reserved category) in aggregate.

Bachelor of Science (Nursing)

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • It is mandatory for the students to pass class twelfth with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English subject separately.

Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication)

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level in any discipline from a recognized board with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate (45 percent in case of reserved category).

Bachelor of Design (B.Des)

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 level in any discipline from a recognized board with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates who are appearing in class twelfth boards or final year diploma are also eligible to apply for SET 2017.
