SIBMB Save the Tree Drive
Trees are the best natural defence system against air pollution. They keep us safe from the effects of poor air quality and provide us with fresh air to breathe.

Feeing the utmost urge to save trees, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru (SIBM-B) conducted a tree maintenance drive on February 21, 2016, in association with the NGO Say Trees near Kasavanahalli Lake, to promote the theme ‘Save Trees, Save the Environment’.

The enthusiastic students of SIBM-B started for the lake at 9 am, and participated in large numbers. Volunteers from SIBMB, worked with utmost cooperation, passing buckets in chains, watering plants, collecting garbage surrounding the outline of the Kasavanahalli Lake near Sarjapur Main
Road.

Around 150 saplings were sufficiently watered. The prime motive behind the initiative was to restore the degrading state of environment and to inculcate a sense of belongingness towards nature.
