Silent Auction at FMS Helps Raise 1.3 Lakhs

The Social Service Cell of FMS- Vihaan organized a Silent Auction and managed to raise 1.3 Lakhs this year

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi along with the students and teachers raised 1.3 lakhs via Silent Auction, an event organized by Vihaan- Social Service Cell of FMS.

The proposals that were made during this session of auction provided a platform for the interaction of the faculty members and students. The proposals that came up were divided into a few categories such as special, fun, food, dates, sports, music, etc. They were attention seeking and received a great response. It included opportunities like lunch with the CEO, interaction with entrepreneurs, research paper writing, salsa dance classes, karate, offerings like home made pancakes, biryani, trip to Jaipur, ride to Murthal etc.

This event aimed at bringing about a social change on a greater level than just inside the walls of the institution. It focussed on putting in a contribution in the most effective way so that change becomes visible and is recognized by all. 

The money thus collected is utilized by the social service cell of FMS, Vihaan, in its endeavours that are aimed at the welfare of the society and the environment. Vihaan has associations with a number of NGOs and has been contributing towards the well-being of the under privileged with tremendous support of faculty and students.
