The Society of Robotics of Delhi Technological University (DTU) is going to organise ‘Silicon Event’ on February 19, 2016 at 4:00 PM at TW4GF1, DTU.
Silicon Valley is a valley of opportunities for all the wizards to come out and experiment, impress the judges with your genius minds and prove that you're a virtuoso in the field of VLSI and HDLs. The event promises for high level entertainment, mindboggling events, excellent hospitality and lots of exciting prizes to be won.

  • Round 1: Basic Written Quiz consisting of basic digital electronics.
  • The quiz consists of 3 sections: 
  • Section 1: Digital Electronics and VLSI– 10 questions
  • Section 2: Aptitude – 5 questions
  • Section 3: Verilog – 5 questions,

Each question carries equal weightage and the marking will be as follows: Correct answers get a reward of 4 points each Wrong answers attract a penalty of -1 point each unanswered questions have no penalty.

Round 2: Programming Round. Using HDLs like Verilog and VHDL, you have to simulate a circuit.

The winners for the online round will be declared on 17th Feb 2016 at 8 PM
