SNAP Important Dates

Symbiosis International University (SIU) has announced the SNAP Important Dates 2017. However, the SNAP 2017 dates are not yet available on the official website of SNAP, nor the website is reflecting any information about SNAP 2017 exam as of now. But, two of the SIU affiliated Institutes, SIIB and SIHS Pune have unveiled the SNAP 2017 exam dates, on their respective official websites. It is expected that in a day or two, details on SNAP 2017 will be made available on the SNAP official website. Till then, the candidates interested in pursuing MBA or other post graduate management course from SIU can check the SNAP schedule 2017 from the table given below. Since, these dates are available on the official websites of SNAP participating colleges; they are more or less official and reliable.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is an entrance exam conducted every year and based on its score, candidates are selected and granted admission to MBA in 15 Institutes falling under SIU. As per the schedule, SNAP 2017 exam date is December 17. It will be a pen-paper based exam, where 150 objective type questions will be asked. SNAP 2017 registration has begun from August 10 and conclude on November 24, 2017. The application form will be available only in online mode and the candidates registering for the exam before the last date will only be issued the SNAP admit card 2017, in the second week of December 2017

Who can take the SNAP 2017 Exam?

Candidates meeting the SNAP eligibility criteria 2017 can apply and take the exam. However, the ineligible candidates will be able to write the SNAP exam primarily but there are chances of them being disqualified later, at the selection stage. Therefore, all the SNAP 2017 aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility norms before applying for the exam.

An overview of SNAP 2017 eligibility criteria is as follow –

1.  No age restriction.

2.  Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, having a duration of minimum 3 years and passed with at least 50% aggregate marks.

3.  Candidates pursuing the final year of graduation or waiting for the result announcement of final year exams are also eligible to take SNAP 2017.

Things you should know about SNAP 2017 Registration

SNAP application form 2017 has released on August 10, 2017. It is available online, on the SNAP 2017 official website. Interested applicants will have to fill basic details such as their name, date of birth, mobile number and email address in a SNAP registration form in order to generate the SNAP 2017 login details. All these details must be filled correctly as these cannot be changed after the completion of SNAP exam registration.

  • Candidates must note that they will have to register independently for the SNAP 2017 exam and the Institutes accepting its score for admission.
  • Application fee of INR 1750 is required to be paid by the applicants for successful submission of the SNAP 2017 application form. There are 4 modes of paying this fee, which are as follow –

1.  Through Internet Banking

2.  By Credit/Debit Card

3.  By Cash at designated braches of Indian Banks

4.  By Demand Draft

As mentioned above, the last date to submit the online SNAP 2017 application form and paying the exam fee is November 24, 2017. Duly registered candidates will be able to download and print SNAP admit card 2017 from the second week of December 2017. Details of candidates, guidelines for taking exam, date and time of exam and details of allotted SNAP exam centre 2017 will all be given on the admit card. The candidates must carry the SNAP 2017 hall ticket and one photo id to the test centre on the exam day for seeking entry into it and writing the exam.

SIU will be conducting SNAP 2017 on a single day and in a single session. The SNAP result 2017 will be declared on or before January 8, 2018. Last year, the result of SNAP exam was announced on January 9, 2017. The result will be announced in the form of scorecard and will furnish sectional and overall SNAP 2017 score obtained by the exam takers. The result will be available online, on the SNAP 2017 official website for the candidates to check. They will have to login to their student account using their SNAP 2017 login credentials for checking the result and download the scorecard.

SNAP 2017 score will be accepted by 15 Institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University. The table below provides the list of these 15 SNAP participating colleges 2017 along with the courses they offer. These Institutes will follow their own SNAP selection process and criteria for shortlisting and selecting the candidates for admission. The selection process is most likely to include group exercise (GE), personal interview (PI) and writing ability test (WAT).
