Beating the market blues, the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai has concluded with its final placements process of Post Graduate Diploma Management (PGDM) batch 2014-16. A total of 222 students participated in the final placements out of 226.
The placement witnessed participation of 84 companies which visited the campus to offer jobs across diverse divisions and sectors. The highest salary offered was Rs. 37 lakh per annum while the average salary offered was Rs. 19.3 lakh per annum.
In all 84 companies made 230 offers across diverse divisions. An ample number of students received pre-placement offers and pre-placement interviews through top corporate houses. A total of 71 pre-placements offers were made by various companies. Out of 84 companies 26 participated for the first time.
The top recruiters in consulting were Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte, IBM, PwC, KPMG, PRTM Consulting, TSMG, and Avalon Consulting among others. The profiles offered included strategic consulting, operations consulting, financial advisory and IT consulting.
