The special session at JIM, Indore was interesting and communcative for all students

 

A special session on the capital market was organised by the Jaipuria Institute of Management (JIM), Indore on the topic “Understand Capital Market with Live Trading Session”, which was  coordinated by Mr. Rahul Bairagi.

The session was addressed by the Mrs. Priya Agarwal who has been working for the Bombay Stock Exchange (Brokers Forum) as an authorized person in Academic-Corporate Interface.

During the session, she spoke about a lot of things pertain to capital Market and imparted so many ideas and thoughts like how to extract fruitful investment ideas from the heart of the market.

Mrs. Priya Agarwal began the session by explaining the basics of the Sensex, Nifty, Stock Exchanges with facts and figures is used extensively by investors in India and around the world as a barometer of the Indian capital markets, briefing about the NSE and BSE she told these are the setups by a group of leading financial Institutions at the behest of the government of India to bring transparency to the Indian Capital Market which offers trading, clearing and settlement services in equity, equity derivatives, debt and currency derivatives segments.

She also pitched advance knowledge about the working of the financial markets and its basic mechanism by giving the real life examples and explaining about the primary and secondary markets. On the conclusion of the session she made the students understand online trading of securities through which the investors and traders over an electronic network, typically with a brokerage firm tools to track and monitor securities, portfolios and indices, as well as research tools, real-time streaming quotes and up-to-date news releases; all of which are necessary to trade profitably.

The session was interesting and communitive for all students. She also imparted information about their in-house, out-house training and internship programs.
