SPJIMR announces PGDM admission 2018-20

SPJIMR has announced admission to its two year PGDM program. The institute will accept score of CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT (January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017).

Among the most reputed and famous B – schools of the country, SPJIMR Mumbai has released admission notification for PGDM 2018 – 2020 batch. As per the official notification, the online application process for PGDM will start in the third week of September 2017 and will be closed on 24th November, 2017. SPJIMR will consider the scores of CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT scores for admission to PGDM program.

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai which is a dream B – school, in non IIM category, for the CAT 2017 and XAT 2018 aspirants, has announced the admission process for admission to post graduate diploma in management program for 2018 – 2020 batch. Candidates can apply online for PGDM program which is scheduled to start in the third week of September 2017. The online admission process will finish by 24th November 2017.

For admission to its PGDM program, SPJIMR Mumbai will consider the scores of CAT 2017 which scheduled to be held on 26th November 2017, XAT 2018 which is scheduled to be conducted on 7th January 2018 and scores of GMAT will also be accepted of the candidates who have taken exam between 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2017. Candidates who are willing to apply for SPJIMR can select two specifications during application process.

The institute offers full time residential program which is of 2 year duration. The program is deemed to be equivalent to MBA degree. At present, the total seats at PGDM program at the institute are 240 students. The institute has allotted 36 additional seats to the candidates who belong to OCI/POI/Foreign Nationals. Thus, PGDM program has a total of 276 seats at present.

SPJIMR Eligibility Criteria 2018 – 20

As per the official notification of admission released by SPJIMR Mumbai, a candidate is required to have a three years bachelor degree from a recognized university. The application must have at least 50% marks in the graduation from any academic background. S/he should possess a good academic performance in past. The candidate’s academic records of 10th and 12th along with all the years of bachelor’s degree will also be taken into consideration by the institute. The students who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for SPJIMR Mumbai.  Work experience isn’t an important factor as it isn’t considered mandatory by the institute. All fresh candidates and candidates having work experience of 5 years are eligible for application to SPJIMR PGDM program. Candidates who aren’t graduate but have cleared ICWA, CA or CS are also eligible to register for admission.

The institute has officially announced the minimum cutoff score which a candidate is required to qualify in order to apply for SPJIMR PGDM admission 2018 – 20. According to the admission criteria prescribed by the institute, the institute will accept the scores of CAT 2017 and XAT 2018.

As per the admission criteria for PGDM admission 2018 – 20 announced by the institute, work experience isn’t a mandatory criterion for taking admission to this program. Candidates who are fresh graduates and candidate having work experience up to 5 year are eligible to apply for this program. Any sort of training work/internship/project work will not be taken into consideration as work experience. However, work experience which is relevant will be counted. In that case, the candidates are required to produce their salary slips and offer letters.

SPJIMR PGDM Application Process 2018 – 20

Candidates who are planning to take admission at SPJIMR for PGDM program 2018 – 20, are required to submit SPJIMR application form online once the admission procedure starts in September 2017 in the third week. The steps mentioned below can be followed for application process:

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of SPJIMR to fill the application form.
  • Candidates need to click on the PGDM admission link available on the website.
  • Registration process will be followed by generating Login ID and password.
  • Once the registration is done successfully, start filling PGDM application form.
  • Make payment of Rs. 1200 which can be done online.

SPJIMR PGDM Selection Process 2018 – 20

The eligible candidates who are interested in taking admission at SPJIMR will be shortlisted based on their profiles. The candidates need to satisfy the cutoff scores of any of the examinations mentions i.e. CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 in order to take admission in PGDM program. The candidates will be shortlisted and categorised into two heads i.e. profile based and profile cum soccer based categorization.

Followings are the shortlisting criteria on the basis of which the candidates will be shortlisted:

  • Overall profile of the candidate
  • Academic background of the candidate
  • Work experience of the candidate
  • Entrance scores of the candidate
  • Versatility and achievements of the candidate

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT/GMAT/XAAT under the profile – cum – scores category. The selection list will be prepared on the basis of composite scores. This will include the profile of the candidate, previous academic records, scores of entrance examinations (XAT/CAT/GMAT), relevant work experience and candidate’s performance in the two rounds of group interviews.
