SRMJEEE eligibility news

SRM University has issued the eligibility and examination pattern of SRMJEEE 2018. The online registration for the same is likely to be commenced in October 2017. The examination will be conducted in online mode. The exam dates are not yet revealed however, it is expected that the test will be held in April 2018.

SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering) 2018 is a joint entrance test for admission to B.Tech & M.Tech degree courses offered in various campuses of SRM University Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana.

SRMJEEE Eligibility 2018

The university has specified the eligibility in 03 different parts Nationality, Essential educational qualification and age limit. Check the below details to check whether you are eligible for the test or not.

Age Limit- Candidates who are applying for UG courses should be born between 1 July 1997 and 1 July 2002 whereas candidates who are willing to pursue PG courses should be born between 1 July 1993 and 1 July 1998


  • To apply for SRMJEEE 2018, candidates should be either a resident of India, or a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or he/she possesses a PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.
  • NRIs candidates and PIO or OCI card holder have to apply through the separate registration portal as International candidates.

Minimum Qualification

Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) is the qualifying examination for UG courses. Candidates who have studied class 10th and class 12th in NIOS are not eligible for any programmes of SRM University.

SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2018

According to the official information, the examination will be held in online mode on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology. The question paper will contain 105 questions of Multiple Choice type.
