SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018- SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is conducted by the SRM University every year for admissions to various undergraduate engineering courses offered at its four campuses. The university has released the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2018. SRMJEEE 2018 will be conducted in the month of April 2018. The application form has been released by the University on November 1, 2017. Aspirants must fill up and submit the registration form before March 31, 2018. Eligibility requirements of SRMJEEE have to be fulfilled by the candidate to take the exam and those who fail to meet the eligibility norms prescribed, will not be allowed to sit for the exam. So it is mandatory for each and every candidate to go through the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2018 before applying for the exam. SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Aspirants who wish to apply for SRMJEEE 2018 must go the eligibility criterion and fill the form accordingly.

Age Limit

For UG courses, candidates should be born between 1 July 1997 and 1 July 2002 whereas PG courses, candidates should be born between 1 July 1993 and 1 July 1998

Nationality

To apply for SRMJEEE Exam 2018, candidates should be either a resident of India or a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or he/she possesses a PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible.

NRIs candidates and PIO or OCI card holder have to apply through the separate registration portal as International candidates.

Educational Qualification-

Faculty of Engineering and Technology

Candidates who have passed the Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in in the same in 2018 with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics / Botany & Zoology/ Biology / Biotechnology as main subjects from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS are eligible to apply.

Candidates who possess International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics / Botany & Zoology/ Biology / Biotechnology as main subjects in any International schools within India.

In addition to the above the candidate must satisfy the campus-specific and programe-specific eligibility criteria

Candidates who have studied Biology as one of the subjects in 11th and 12th are eligible for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering courses only.

Candidates who have qualified 10th as well as 12th in NIOS are ineligible for admission to any courses of SRM University.

Note- Candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

The candidate must assure that they fulfil the eligibility criterion of SRMJEEE 2018 before applying for the exam. The application forms can be submitted online as well as offline. Those candidates who are sending the application form via post must make sure that it reached the Admission office before the last date, after which no applications will be accepted.
