The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released admit cards for its Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 examination on August 10, 2016. The candidates appearing for the exam can download the admit cards from the official website of SSC, www.ssc.nic.in.

Steps to download SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card

Here we list down the steps to download your SSC CGL Tier 1 admit card:

  1. Open the official website, www.ssc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the link flashing, ‘Admit Card’.
  3. Enter the mandatory details and click ‘Submit’.
  4. Once you click the submit button, admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download the admit card and take a printout of the same for future reference.

The exam is conducted under three tiers namely Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3, out of which the first two tiers are conducted in computer-based mode. The SSC CGL 2016 Tier 1 examination is slated to be conducted on August 27, 2016. The selection will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. The candidate is required to qualify all the tiers. There will be no sectional cut-offs.

SSC CGL Exam Important Points

  • The exam will consist of four sections based on General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension and General Awareness.
  • The duration of the exam will be of two hours. The candidates with disabilities will be given 40 minutes to complete the examination.
  • According to the changes in the selection procedure, personal interview has been exempted; therefore, no interviews will be taken this year.
