Apeejay Stya University (ASU) conducted a week long Orientation Programme to welcome its freshers

Apeejay Stya University (ASU) conducted a week long Orientation Programme to welcome its freshers in a grand manner. CEOs from various Corporate Sectors and young entrepreneurs, some of whom are the alumni of Apeejay Society were invited at the grandeur. On day 1, the freshers were welcomed with the traditional tika ceremony followed by a small interactive session with Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Vice Chancellor, ASU.

A painting competition and a workshop for various biomedical tests were organised by The School of Design and the School of BioSciences respectively. The upcoming two days witnessed the presence of various emminent personalities like Dr. S K Salwan, CEO, Apeejay Education Society and DR. V S Garg, Senior Advisor, Apeejay Group. Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, National Spokeperson and Political Advisor to the President, BJP was invited as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Arun Jain , MD, Fluor Daniel and Mr. Sharad Aggarwal, Executive Vice President, Godfrey Philips.

A panel discussion on “Nurturing Leadership and Talent” set the ball rolling. Various intellect participants took active participation in the discussion. The intellectuals were Mr Anadi Sinha, President HR, UNO Minda Group, Mr Peeyush Sehgal, CEO, Eagles Cocoon, Mr  G. P. Rao, Ex-President HR, Reliance Malaysia, Mr Rahul Mahajan, Prasar Bharti, Mr Damnish Kumar, CEO, M-Elimu, Ms Smiti B. Deorah, Co-Founder & COO, Workadvantage and Mr Yogesh Pandey, CISCO. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Aditya Berlia, Pro Chancellor, ASU.

Apart from the panel discussions and speeches, the event got hold of the audiences with eminent and enthralling cultural programmes like dancing, singing and numerous interactive games. On the final day, the students were introduced to various cultural and academic clubs of ASU.
