The event was organized to welcome the new batch of students at the institute
The annual cultural festival, the Talent Show at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, aimed at comforting the fresher’s with the college environment ended in high spirits with the curtain falling at the valedictory ceremony in the Jubilee Hall on 11 October, 2015. The 2-day extravaganza was aimed at all the first year students of all the courses. It is a worthy attempt to develop the co-curricular interests of the students.
The event lasted from 9 to 11 October, 2015. The various clubs of the college, Music and Dramatics Club, English Literary and Debating Club, Hindi Literary and Debating Club, Photography Club, Students Activity Club, Fine Arts Club, PG Club, each organized multiple events for the first year students to participate in.
The most famous events of the festival were :
- Debate (Hindi and English)
- Quizzes (India Quiz, Exquizite, Brainstorm, Bharat ko Jaano, Show Time)
- Fine Arts Events (Nail Art, Still Art, Caricature Making, Best out of Waste, Art-a-Thon)
- Fun Events (Treasure Hunt, Wheel of Fortune, Friends War, Tug of War)
- Photography Events
- Mr. and Ms. Fresher’s
- Splitsvilla 1.0
- Group Dane
- Play (Ekanki)
- Creative Writing
The festival witnessed participation from more than 1000 students in a myriad of events. Talent Show is a major platform where the fresher’s get the sole opportunity to exhibit their talent. Also, the fest serves as a break from the hectic study schedule and serves as a rejuvenate medium to the students and the faculty.
