TANCET for Admission to MBA, MCA, M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.E degree programmes offered for 2013
Applications are invited for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2013 to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to MBA, MCA, M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.E programmes for the year 2013-2014.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) offers admission in Master programmes for the year 2013.
How to apply:
The candidates can register for the entrance test in any one of the modes given below:
Offline Registration
Candidates can appear in person at the coordinating centres shown under with the following documents:
- Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
- Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
- Entrance Test Fee in the form of Cash (or) Demand Draft
- SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.
The filled in downloaded application along with the required demand draft and photocopies of certificates should be sent so as to reach the Secretary, TANCET, Centre for Entrance Examinations, Anna University, Chennai-600025 on or before 28th February, 2013, by 5.30 p.m.
Online Registration
Candidates can register through internet by filling-up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown under item 10 with the following enclosed:
- Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
- Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
- Entrance Test Fee in the form of Demand Draft
- An attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamil Nadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).

Application form is common for all the three entrance tests
Candidates have to submit only one application which will be made available soon, on the official website.
The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of permanent community certificate in card format) as entrance test fee for any one of the programmes.
Important Dates:
- Commencement of offline registration/registration online: 06th February, 2013
- Last date for offline registration at coordinating centres and registration online: 26th February, 2013
- Last date for offline registration at Chennai centre and receipt of applications registered online: 28th February, 2013
- TANCET 2013 M.E/M.Tech/M.Arc/M.Plan Entrance Exam Date : April 7th 2013
- TANCET 2013 Results Date : April Last Week 2013
If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he/she has to pay Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu)
