Founded in 1926, SRCC is considered to be the best commerce college in the country offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the subject. Located in North Campus, it spans across a 17-acre campus equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities. It is one of the few colleges in the University to have fully air-conditioned classrooms. 2. Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR)

LSR is the country’s best women’s only institution located in the Lajpat Nagar locality of New Delhi. Established in 1956, it is currently home over 2,000 students extending across a 15-acre campus. 3. Hansraj College

Hansraj was initially built as an institute for only men but became co-ed in 1978. Currently, Hansraj is located in North Campus and has one of the largest student bodies in the university with over 5,000 students. Aside from its prestige in academics, it is home to the only electronic shooting range at the university and is well known for its extracurricular activities as well.

5. Sri Venkateswara College (Venky)

6. Jesus and Mary College (JMC)

JMC is a women’s only educational Christian minority institution located in the Chanakyapuri locality of New Delhi. One of the leading South Campus colleges, it was established in 1968. 9. Gargi College

It is one of the only two colleges to have received UGC’s College with a Potential for Excellence Grant a few years ago.
