JNTU, Hyderabad delays the TS EAMCET exam to a later date, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 2nd May 2016.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad is the authority to conduct the TS EAMCET exam in the state of Telangana. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on 2nd May 2016, but has now been delayed to the third week of May 2016. JNTU will announce the final date on its official website.
The admit cards were available for download on the official website of JNTU from 24th April to 30th April 2016. Candidates must bring the admit card to appear for the examination. The TS EAMCET admit card contains details like name of the candidate, test venue, roll number and other relevant details. Candidate must log onto the website, enter the registration number, hall ticket number and the date of birth in order to download the admit card.
EAMCET is a state level examination offering undergraduate courses in engineering, agriculture and medical stream across various private and government colleges in Telangana. Candidates, who will acquire minimum qualifying marks and those belonging to SC/ST category, for whom qualifying marks have not been mentioned, will be assigned ranking based on merit. In the ranking, 75 percent of the weightage is given to the marks secured in TS EAMCET and 25% weightage to marks acquired in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology in class XII.
