Preserving and Promoting Indian Culture and Society at MAHAGAMI
A two- day dance festival was organized at the Mahagami Gurukul- MGM Mahagami, Aurangabad on 29th and 30th August 2015 from 6pm to 9pm.
The event was held at Mahagami, Mahatma Gandhi Mission Sangeet Academy in Aurangabad.
Mahagami Gurukul recently completed 20 years of its inception since 1996. In order to celebrate this milestone, ‘Tasmai Shree Guru Namah’, a regular festical series of Mahagami showcased performances of Guru and Disciples.
Activities of Mahagami are aimed at promoting cultural heritage of India in general and in Aurangabad in particular. These include seminars, baithaks, festivals, heritage series etc that not only promoted talent but also made Indian cultural traditions global, wherein more than 2000 students participaate regularly. It has resulted into making Aurangabad a Culturally Vibrant City.
One can also register to be a part of the Annual ‘Kala Snehi’ Membership to be able to witness many such festivals and concerts throughout the year.
