Universal Business School (UBS) Bags ‘Most Innovative Business School in Mumbai’ Award

The award was presented by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Kirron Kher and film actress Divya Dutta for outstanding innovation in the field of management.

Universal Business School received the ‘Most Innovative Business School in Mumbai’ Award by India Today and Aaj Tak in collaboration with Worldwide Achievers.

The award to be presented by Honorable Minister Smriti Irani, Ministry of HRD, Government of India was presented by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Kirron Kher and film actress Divya Dutta for outstanding innovation in the field of management.

 

 

The award was accepted by Tarun Anand, Co-Founder, Universal Business School and Fmr. Chairman & Managing Director, Thomson Reuters, South Asia.

They received this award for creating the 1st B-School in Asia to set up a Global Cross Asset Trading Room built by Thomson Reuters, where students are given $10 million notional capital and can trade cross asset across 5 Continents and they are judged on the performance of their global portfolio, with the ability to make course correction regularly.

UBS has pioneered a 100 hour Case Blazer Competition, where students have to analyze and come back with recommendations on a 100 page Case Study where events change every 30 hours, preparing students for real life intense situations and a competitive environment.
