The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun (UPES) has released the exam schedule for Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2017. UPES-DAT 2017 is a national level exam conducted to grant admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme. This examination is slated to be held from April 12 to 15, 2017. Candidates can start applying online on the official website.

UPES-DAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidates should have scores at least 50 percent marks in higher and secondary level (class 10 and 12) and at least 50 percent aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics at the senior secondary level.
If you are applying through board merit, you should have secured at least 65 percent marks in higher and senior secondary level and a minimum of 65 percent aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology at the senior secondary level.
How to apply for UPES DAT 2017?
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website of UPES, www.upes.ac.in. Candidates who wish to apply offline can obtain the prospectus/application form through post by sending a Demand Draft (DD) by depositing cash.
Through Demand Draft (DD): Candidates applying online can pay online itself, while those who are filling the form offline will need to send a DD of INR 1850 in favour of ‘UPES Fee Account’, payable at New Delhi to ‘University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Enrolments Office, UPES, 210, 2nd Floor, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi-110020.’
Payment Through Cash- Candidates can obtain the application form by paying an amount of INR 1750 at the admission counters at Chandigarh/Ahmedabad/Dehradun/Hyderabad/Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Cochin/Coimbatore.
