UPSC Combined Geo-scientist & Geology Final Result

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Combined Geo-scientist and Geologist examination 2016 on its official website. Candidates, who appeared for the interviews in August, can check their results on the official website of UPSC.

The written examination for Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist for the year 2016 was conducted by UPSC in the month of May 2016. Only candidates who cleared this written examination were called for an interview or personality test in August 2016.

A total of 178 candidates have been recommended for 180 vacancies in Category I and II out of which 18 candidates have been selected provisionally. Posts in Geological Survey of India or Category I has selected 99 candidates as Geologists, 47 as Geophysicist and 30 as Chemists. On the other hand, 2 candidates have been selected for the post of Junior Hydrogeologists under Central Ground Water Board or Category II.

  • Click on ‘Final Results’
  • Click on the PDF link under Download column for Combined Geo-scientist and Geologist Examination, 2016
  • View the results in PDF format

Marks of the candidate who cleared the examination will interviews will be made available within 15 days of the announcement of results.
