UPSC CDS (II) e-Admit Cards 2016 Released

Candidates appearing for UPSC CDS (II) examination 2016 can now download their e-admit cards. Read more to know how.


The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released UPSC CDS (II) 2016 exam admit cards on its official website for all the candidates who applied for the Common Defence Services (CDS) examination.

Aspirants should note that UPSC has released only e-admit cards and no personal mailing of UPSC CDS admit cards will be done.

UPSC conducts CDS, which is a national level examination, twice a year conducted for selection in the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers' Training Academy.

Candidates who will get selected via UPSC CDS examination will undergo military training for a period of 18 months at IMA and will be enrolled under the army act as gentlemen cadets.

UPSC CDS (II) exam 2016 is all set to be conducted on October 23, 2016, whereas CDS-I was held across the country at various test centres on February 14.

How to Download UPSC CDS 2 e-Admit Card 2016

  • Visit the official website of UPSC
  • Click on ‘e-Admit Card-CDS II, 2016’ on the home page
  • Click on ‘download e-admit card’ link
  • Enter registration no. and date of birth provided at the time of application and submit
  • Admit Card will appear
  • Download and take print

Applicants are recommended to download the UPSC CDS e-admit cards 2016 as soon as possible as it is a mandatory document without which no one will be allowed to write the examination.
