Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the UPSC NDA & NA II 2016 final results on its official website. The test was conducted on September 18, 2016. UPSC NDA II 2017 result for the exam conducted on September 10, 2017, was announced on November 01, 2017. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result on the official website. Candidates who qualify in NDA exam 2017 will only be allowed to appear for SSB interviews for admission to Navy, Army and Air Force Wings in various courses scheduled to commence from July 02, 2018. For now, the Union Public Service Commission has just declared the result while the mark-sheets will be uploaded within next 15 days.

Steps to check UPSC NDA II Result 2017

Students can follow below-mentioned steps to check their results:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC
  • Click on UPSC NDA / NA II Final Results 2016
  • The list of the selected candidates will appear on the screen
  • If required download/ take a printout of the result for the further reference if any.

UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) exam will help students to get into the various wings of defense forces. Qualified students will be called in for an interview round by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for admission to Navy, Airforce and Army wings of the National Defence Academy's 140th Course and the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) which will be starting from July 2, 2018.

Students will be able to pursue a full-time residential undergraduate program with two stream choices i.e. Science stream (offering studies in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science) and Humanities (offering studies in History, Economics, Political Science, Geography, and Languages).

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, The Army, The Navy and The Air Force train together before they go on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies.
