VIPS: Interactive session with N R Narayan Murthy, Founder of Infosys

Mr Murthy, known as the pioneer of IT and software industry, guided the students and motivated them to become an entrepreneur!

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, GGSIPU was graced to have the founder of Infosys Mr. N. R Narayan Murthy on May 20, 2015.
The session started with a welcome address by Prof. I.M.Pande, DG, VIPS. Dr S C Vats, Chairman of VIPS.
During his session Mr. Murthy inspired the students to become an entrepreneur. He stressed on the idea that the aim education is to make the students learn the process of learning, and develop in them the vision to deliver to the society.
A question-answer session was also held where he was asked questions by students about the ethical and legal aspects of the working of entrepreneurs.
Mr Murthy highlighted the need of an initiative by corporations to recycle the resources used by them. He guided the students about the importance of good ideas, values, communication skills and leadership quality in establishing a successful ventures. Following the interactive session, he visited a photo exhibition wherein the photographs taken by the journalism students of VIPS had been put on display.
It was ended with a vote of thanks to the guest for his helpful insights and ignite the crowd for a great cause.
