VTUEEE 2018- Veltech University Engineering Entrance Examination 2018 is conducted by Veltech University to provide admission to 28 Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses. VTUEEE is a computer-based test online entrance examination conducted in two phases – I and II as per the scheduled dates given by the university. The phase I exam is likely to be held in January 2018 and phase II exam will be held in April 2018. Candidates can appear in any of the two phases as per their convenience. The entrance exam of VTUEEE will be held across 25 exam cities as well as in Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat.

The application form of VTUEEE 2018 for both the phases is estimated to be released in the first week of October 2017 The online slot booking system for the same will be made available from the first week of March 2018. VTUEEE 2018 Eligibility

Candidates who wish to take VTUEEE entrance exam 2018 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria before filling up the VTUEEE application form 2018. Eligibility criteria will include age limit, education qualification, nationality and other aspects as well.  However, those candidates who already have an undergraduate degree in engineering from another institute will not eligible to appear for the test.

Age requirements: Applicants must be less than 25 years

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). PIO and OCI holder candidates can apply directly through foreign category.

Education Qualification: Aspirants who are appearing for class XII final exam or equivalent examination in April/May 2018 are eligible to apply for VTUEEE 2018 exam. Candidates should have passed class XII from any state board/CBSE, New Delhi/National Institute of Open School/Intermediate, New Delhi/CISCE or two year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized board or University/High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent.

VTUEEE 2018 Application Form

The application form process includes filling personal, educational qualification information, contact details, selection of exam city and fee payment. It will be made available from the first week of October 2017 in both online and offline modes. VTUEEE online registration 2018 fee should be paid online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking and Demand Draft.

Steps to Fill VTUEEE 2018 Registration Form

Step 1: Filling up of application form

Candidates are required to login with their application number and password will be sent to their registered email ID and mobile number while registration. In the application form, candidates should enter their personal and academic information, contact details and other required fields.

Step 2: Uploading of documents

Candidates have to upload a copy of scanned image of their documents such as photograph and signature in jpeg format. The file size shouldn’t exceed the size required by the University.

Step 3: Payment & Confirmation page

The candidates have to pay the application fee in order to complete the registration procedure. Once the payment is successful, candidates will receive a confirmation message and email to the given ID while registration. It is advisable to download the page and preserve it for further admission references.

Step 4: Fee payment

Candidates can pay VTUEEE application fee either online (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking) or via Demand Draft.

VTUEEE 2018 Exam Centres

Candidates have to choose any three VTUEEE exam centres as per their preferences while filling the application form. Veltech University will announce the list of exam centres where the online entrance examination for Phase I and II will be held. The allotment of VTUEEE exam centres will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis and change in the examination city will not be accepted once the submission of the application form has been made.

VTUEEE 2018 Admit Card

The Admit Card of VTUEEE 2018 will be made available from the third week of March 2018 for downloading. Candidates will get their VTUEEE 2018 Admit Card after booking the slot for the exam. The Admit Card includes the name of the applicant, photograph, signature, roll number, examination city, exam centre and ID proof number and it is compulsory for aspirants to carry VTUEEE Hall Ticket and other relevant documents to the examination centre on the day of entrance examination.  In case of any discrepancy, candidates must immediately contact the authority.

VTUEEE 2018 Exam Pattern 

The exam pattern of VTUEEE consists the details of the exam i.e. types of questions, marking scheme, total number of questions, and duration of the exam. The question paper is divided into three sections – Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Candidates will have to answer 100 questions from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics comprises of 25 questions. For each correct answer one mark is awarded whereas there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

VTUEEE 2018 Syllabus

The syllabus of VTUEEE 2018 includes all the subject areas which were studied in standard XI and XII. Candidates can prepare well by going through the syllabus which will give complete details of the topics and sub-topics that are to be covered. VTUEEE Sample Papers 2018

The sample papers will help candidates to prepare well for the online entrance examination. Aspirants who wish to appear for VTUEEE usually prefer sample paper for better preparation. Using VTUEEE sample paper 2018, students can increase their accuracy level and speed for solving questions.

VTUEEE Answer Key 2018

The answer key of VTUEEE 2018 will have the correct responses for the questions asked in the entrance test. Candidates can match their marked answers with the solutions with that of the answer key provided by the University. However, Veltech University does not release any official answer key as the entrance exam is conducted in online mode.

VTUEEE 2018 Result

The result of VTUEEE 2018 will be announced in February 2018 for Phase I while the result for Phase II will be released in online mode. The Veltech Engineering Entrance Examination 2018 result comprises the score and rank of candidates. Aspirants can check VTUEEE result by entering their application number and roll number. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by candidates in VTUEEE 2018. All the qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling for admission as per their ranks.

VTUEEE 2018 Merit List

The merit list of VTUEEE will be available along with the result. The VTUEEE merit list includes details like the candidate’s name and All India Rank. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates.

VTUEEE 2018 Cut Off 

The cut off of VTUEEE 2018 is the minimum qualifying marks required by candidates to be eligible for admission in various B.Tech courses and it is set by the authority of Veltech University. The opening and closing rank will be declared during the announcement of cut off and it varies for different categories. Once the result is declared, University will announce the cut off for VTUEEE qualified candidates and it opens the gateway to participate in the counselling rounds.

VTUEEE 2018 Counselling

As per the schedule, VTUEEE 2018 counselling is likely to be held in the first week of May 2018. Only those candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called for the counselling. On the basis of the ranks, candidates have to be present in person to participate in the counselling process organized by the university. The online counselling will be held on the basis of candidate’s rank in VTUEEE 2018. Counselling includes stages such as registration, advance payment, reporting to the campuses, allotment process, document verification, seat display of vacant seats after each round of VTUEEE counselling etc.

VTUEEE 2018 Seat Allotment

The seat allotment of VTUEEE will be held in Chennai campus and it is organized by the authority as per the ranks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. Shortlisted candidates have to report at the allotted campus for VTUEEE seat allotment process. On the basis of All India rank, preferences of courses and availability of seats, eligible candidates are granted admission to B.Tech programmes. Candidates must carry all prescribed documents in original for verification along with two sets of photocopies. Candidates have to pay the annual fees through Net banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Veltech Dr. RR & Dr. SR University” payable at Chennai along with a cover letter.

VTUEEE 2018 Participating Institutes

Vellore Institute of Technology has four participating institutes for admission in 20 B.Tech courses. Those eligible candidates will be admitted in four campuses located in the university. Candidates have to appear in the counselling as per their ranks and seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of the merit ranks and availability of seats for the particular course.

  • 6 copies of recent colored passport size with white background dressed in formal wear with name and date printed on it
  • Anti-Ragging Joint undertaking by parent or guardian and student
  • Any other declaration or undertaking that may be required at the time of counselling or admission

  • Four copies of colored passport size (dimensions – 3.5 x 4.5 cm) photographs of parent or guardian
  • Marks Sheet of class 10 or equivalent qualifying examination
