West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has notified the examination date of Common Entrance Examination for admission to UG Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses offered by various Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in West Bengal. WBJEE 2018 will be conducted on 22 April, 2018 (Sunday). However, the online registration for the same will be commenced from 1st week of January, 2018.

Engineering aspirants should meet all the eligibility norms to apply for WBJEE Examination. Candidates’ age should be 17 years and must possess 10+2 from a recognized board. Candidates should have a valid domicile of West Bengal in order to apply for the exam. The application form will be made available on the official website of exam, http://wbjeeb.nic.in. Along with the details, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500 plus the Bank’s Service Charges either in cash through Allahabad Bank e-challan or in cash less mode by ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Credit Card’.

Fill the WBJEE 2018 application form with correct information as exam conducting authority can cancel your candidature if any misleading information will be found. It is also recommended to confirm all the details before submitting the application form, because, no provision to amend the details of application form will be provided.

The question paper will contain 155 questions on Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics of total 200 marks. The examination will be held in 02 slots, from 11:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In first session, candidates will have 02 hours to solve mathematics section. While in second session, next 02 hours will be provided to solve Physics and Chemistry questions.

For every wrong answer, negative marks will be deducted. Candidates’ performance in each section will be evaluated precisely to make the final rank list. Admission to the UG courses will be made on the basis of marks and rank attained by candidates in the examination. Hence, work hard to grab good marks in the written test.
