CBSE Has released the final datesheet on its official website. Students should visit the CBSE website for the final datesheet.

All the confusion regarding the datesheet of Class X and XII board exams has come to an end with the final datesheet being released on the official CBSE website.  Admit cards are expected to be released within this week.

“We will ensure there is no delay in releasing the results and students will get enough time between exams. It is most likely the exams will start on March 9 or 10. But a final view is yet to be taken,” said a source.

Every year, Class 12 board exams start around March 1 and end in April. Students who take the exam get to know their results by the third week of May.

According to sources, delaying the exams will make life easier for teachers and other staff members of the school as they all are going to be occupied with election duty.

A school principal in west Delhi said, “I don’t think 8-9 days’ delay in starting the examination will affect anything. There has been a lot of digitisation in CBSE. Last year too, CBSE was 10 days ahead in declaring the result.”

Some school principals and teachers also said that there will be no possibility of any issue if results are declared on time.

According to The Indian School principal, Tania Joshi, said. “The time between exams may be reduced to adjust the delay. As college admissions will begin, there cannot be a delay in declaring results.”

However, there is another angle to the story that could possibly become a cause of worry for students who are planning to take engineering entrance exams. For example, the most popular and widely taken engineering admission test JEE is scheduled to be conducted in the first week of April.

Students who wish to take this exam fear that their board exams might clash with JEE dates.

Vidya Niketan student, Rohit Sharma said: “With this pushing back of examination dates by 9-10 days, it looks like we will have to take entrance tests in between exams.”

However, teachers feel there is no reason to worry as CBSE usually conducts the Humanities examination in April.
