Xpressions 2015, the flagship event of N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research, was a graceful platform for students to explore and exhibit their skills and talents.
Art and talent can be showcased best by distinctively expressing it and Xpressions 2015, the flagship event of N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research was a graceful platform for the students to explore and exhibit the skills and talents possessed by them.
Organized for the students, by the students; Xpressions 2015 was an intra division cultural fest that was held from 25th August, 2015 to 29th August, 2015 wherein five divisions comprising of students from different specialization – Marketing, Finance and Human Resource; competed against each other in the race to bag the title of Xpressions 2015.
The theme of the fest was The Empire of Mayhem and all the events were neatly aligned to the theme. A total of 15 events were held encompassing most of the possible fields; witnessing business quiz, street play, singing, dancing, drama, mock stock, who wants to be a CEO, amongst others, planting a seed towards nurturing the qualities of team work, leadership, communication, public speaking, discipline, hard work, creative thinking, confidence, decision making and interpersonal skills that a management graduate ought to possess.
The chief events of Xpressions 2015; Marketing Warfare, witnessing the five teams adopting different characters relating to the theme, and Stock-o-holic, giving the students an opportunity to try their hands on the virtual live trading; spread grandeur and glory across the campus of NLDIMSR. It also included the selection of the Mr. and Miss Dalmia, the Crown Jewels of NLDIMSR.
The five day carnival concluded with a fresher’s party, celebrating and welcoming the new batch of management students. The fest received a great support, enthusiasm and encouragement from Dr. Chandra Mauli Dwivedi, Director NLDIMSR and other faculty members. Xpressions 2015 was a perfect induction programme that allowed the new batch to mingle with each other and the Institute effectively.
