Dear student,

We are really sorry to tell you that with diploma in electronics and communication engineering you are not eligible to do aeronautical engineering.

Eligibility for aeronautical engineering:

• 12th Class (10+2)/Intermediate With Aggregate of 50% marks in Physics/Maths/Chemistry(PCM). Or

• Student must have completed his/her diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical engineering.

You can however do mechanical engineering and after that you can easily take admission for PG in aeronautics. You can go for B.Tech through the Lateral schema by taking LEET exam. Through this lateral schema you can directly enter into the B.Tech 2nd year. You can go for B.E through the ECET exam also.

These tests are conducted on state level. But some colleges and Univerities too conduct Lateral Entry Tests. You will get direct admission to 2nd year of B.Tech if you clear the exam.

Remember, eligibility for admission to Lateral Entry B.Tech course is a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the Diploma course.

Good luck!!!
