Good afternoon sir.. I am a student pursuing ********** (Accounting & finance). I am interested in giving IFS an becoming forest Ranger. Am i eligible for that.. please guide.

Dear student,

Since, you are a commerce student; you are not eligible for IFS.

Indian Foreign Service (IFS) is created to handle the external affairs of the country inside and outside of it in various missions abroad or in the Ministry of External affairs.

Eligibility:

• You should have passed B.Sc degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or
• You should have bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Forestry or Agriculture or a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.
• You should be attained the age between 21 to 30
• You must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission in IFS Examination
