Hello, I am looking forward to a career in mountaineering and aspire to be a mountain guide. Can you let me know how should I proceed. I plan to take it up from 2014. A brief research on the internet led me to North India with institutes like HMI, NIM, ABVIMAS. Can you let me which of them is good. I somehow prefer HMI, but an expert opinion is what I need. Also, what is the scope of employment in India? Will I have to move abroad? If yes, can you let me know where? Looking forward to your reply
