Hi Kishtij, there is no particular exam of mass communication, every university has its different entrance exam followed by a group discussion and personal interview. The topics there are generic things and current affairs. Also, media field is very vast. There is journalism, advertising, film-making, public relations, event management, radio. My brother studies bachelor is mass communication and journalism in UTM Shillong which is the sister college of UPES. The lecturers are very nice there and also the placement cell is very active. The college has got good infrastructure and hostel facilities as well. Check its website for details.
