Dear student, if you are good in academics and have scored above 98% in CAT, and do well in your Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI), then there is no reason why you should not get into IIM–A. But they might ask you about your engineering bit, so have an answer ready!

Your admission to IIM A will be dependant on many factors that include the ones you have mentioned above. But to reach to that level you will first need to crack CAT and get shortlisted for the next round of GD/PI. If you have a great score in CAT and good performace in the GD/PI rounds, you may have a chance of getting into IIM A. But first I would suggest take it one step at a timePosted by Rahul , Thu 28 Feb 2013
